Meet The Team

Mary Dunaway, RD, LD, CDCES

Mary is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada, and a Certified Diabetes Educator. As the sole owner of Anders and Dunaway Consultants, Inc., she has been in private practice since 1999. Originally from Southern California, Mary graduated cum laude from Colorado State University with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She has over 20 years experience working in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, long-term care, dialysis facilities, community education, and private consultation.

Fun facts: Mary loves her husband, family, work, golf (has played Pebble Beach, and dreams of playing St. Andrews), NFL football, chocolate, her fur babies, a good cabernet, movies, traveling, and food - making it, eating it, and talking about it!

Adam Cisek, RD, LD

Adam is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2015 and completed his dietetic internship with St. Rose Dominican Hospitals.

Fun facts: He cannot get enough time with his beautiful wife and 2 young children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, cooking, and sleeping (wait, what’s sleep?)

Nakia Addison, RD, LD

Nakia Addison is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada. As a native from New Orleans, Nakia can attest to the love of food and culture and utilizes her experiences to connect with patients and clients. Nakia has a diverse background in nutrition as it relates to the many different work settings that include the hospital, long-term care, home health care, and currently outpatient.

Fun Facts: Nakia is also a Licensed Esthetician( Skin therapist) and proclaimed, "Self Care Queen". Entrepreneur spirit, Loves to travel and is a dog mom. Cherishes family and of course a foodie!!

Bouthaina Shehab, RD, LD

Bouthaina is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada. A native of Beirut, Lebanon, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences and completing her internship at the Desert Spring Hospital. Always having been a proponent of using her knowledge to aid others, Bouthaina’s main focus in her career is to continue providing the best level of care possible for others through counseling on various nutritional topics and promoting healthy eating habits to all. Bouthaina’s ability to connect with and bring about positive change in people’s dietary lifestyles and health brings her no greater joy.

Fun Facts: Bouthaina loves to travel to new places and explore different cultures and foods. She enjoys spending time with family, music, Mediterranean food, and the outdoors, especially the beach.

Brooke Hershey, RD, LD

Brooke was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in Nutrition Sciences. Brooke shares a passion for tailoring clients nutritional needs to their disease state, personal preferences, and cultural background and traditions. Additionally, her expertise lies in implementing evidence-based practice to guide patients on making sound decisions regarding their nutrition and health.

Fun Facts: When Brooke is not helping clients achieve their nutritional goals, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking new recipes, walking her dog Pepperoni, doing Pilates and barre workouts, and learning about different cultures through her travels.”

Samantha DeFalco, RD, LD

Samantha is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada. While she was born and raised in Las Vegas, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship in Reno. During her collegiate career, she studied abroad in Spain for a semester, igniting her passion for food and culture and the vital role they play in life. Samantha is dedicated to helping clients develop balanced nutritional habits that support their overall health and lifestyle goals.

Fun Facts: Samantha loves traveling and exploring new places, hiking, weightlifting, cooking, and cherishing time with family and friends.

Romina Ballesteros, RD, LD

Romina is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Nevada. Romina was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She grew up in a Mexican household and has passion for helping out her Latino community. Romina Ballesteros is currently a graduate student pursuing her Masters of Science in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Las Vegas, NV. She completed her Dietetic Internship through UNLV where she spent time at Spring Valley Hospital and Clark County School District Food Service Department for her rotations. Romina graduated in May 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from UNLV. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends while finding various ways to continue to grow as an individual.

Fun Facts:Romina is a triplet. She has two yorkies that she adores to spend time with. Romina enjoys designing new graphics on various media outlets..
